Packrite has just completed the installation of a new state-of-the-art takeaway conveyor line featuring a multi-head Signode GCU SmartFlex™ Unitizer with sword insertion feature and the capability to create over 200 units per hour. The line also includes a new Octopus high-speed, large format automatic stretch wrapper. A single operator’s station provides simple and efficient set-up and operation of all components of the line. The control and monitoring system is integrated into the company’s network for real-time reporting for expedited scheduling, shipping and order turn-around.
